sick, you will have to miss classes and you just cannot give up that precious

healthy while living in a hostel.
1. Lay off the tech at night
The #1 reason you’re not feeling fine is
because your laptops and phones are messing with your sleep cycle. Avoid using
these devices right before you sleep. If you have an assignment due or a test
the next day, prepare for it in advance instead of procrastinating about it and
end up doing it the night before.
While it is a cliché, it is true that
breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Research says that eating a good
and healthy breakfast sets the tone for the rest of the day. If your hostel has
a mess, make the most of the opportunity. Find a buddy and hit the mess every
morning before your classes for a nutritious breakfast and stay in shape.
Staying away from home means you don’t get the
“ghar ka khaana”. You can easily fall in the trap of junk/fast food. Who wants
to eat roti-sabzi every day, right? The temptation to not cook a packet of
Maggi every day can get hard to resist. But you should try and steer clear of
it.
Make it a routine to go on evening strolls and
breathe in the fresh air. While your room has the precious air conditioning and
your phone charger, a walk in the neighbourhood park will certainly keep you
fresh and leave you in a good mood.
It is vital that you socialise with others.
You may be an introvert and don’t like talking to a lot of people. In that
case, find one person to talk to on a daily basis. It can be anyone, even that
roommate who puts his dirty laundry on full display for you. If you don’t
socialise, life can get pretty monotonous for you.
