Are Women Really Safe Anywhere?

Thus, after conducting many surveys and having lots of interviews directly with the Alcohol Rehabilitation Center in India and with their women patients across India, legit are they taken care of? Is the world becoming a new and modern world? Or are we just reducing our levels as a human race?

There is no denying the fact that women in India have made a fantastic progress in almost ten past decades of independence, but they still needed to struggle against many social and personal evils in a male-dominated society. Many evil and masculine forces still prevail in the modern Indian society that resists the forward march of womens.It is such ironical and hypocrites that such a country who recently was awarded with the status of Asia's first country to accomplish its Mars mission and a country which celebrated Durga Pooja with such grace praying a women, grasps 29th rank among 146 countries across the globe for Gender Inequality.

We find women in all sectors from fighting near the border to fighting within herself to give birth, she tries to protect everyone but is she really protected by anyone? We need to make much better society for her. Letting her achieving her goals, giving her the liberty to live life on her terms, not forcing her for rape, marriage etc. teaching and informing her from wrong touch, periods to taking major decisions of life. It should be not only a girl's family's responsibility but also ours to turn her from a girl into independent women.

 

Now a day’s social media is playing a very important role to create awareness for women issues and to start respecting her. Be it any women based film or serial or advertisements but famous you-tube channels and youtubers also have started making such web series or videos related to women empowerment. It should be the youth who should see these series and understand the importance and can pass on the message and can inculcate some values because they have the power in the future and can make their coming younger generation to give respect on women issues.

It is very necessary for all Indian men to understand the power of women and let them go ahead to make themselves independent and power of the family and country. Gender equality is the first step to bring women empowerment in India. Empowerment is just not a word or to provide facilities, it is beyond that, many of us use this word casually or really do not know what the word empowerment stands for. Always remember it is a process that gives a person freedom in decision making. Remember it is her life, her decisions, her mistakes, her choice, her empowerment. And above all remember that she is the reason of your existence!
